I am unable to take part at the time, but would care to promote the idea of a flat rate tax system for freelance business people. In a similar approach to the flat rate VAT system, freelance staff ought to be able to submit an operating expenditure cost schedule, which would identify a banding for flat rate of tax.

The Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) has said it believes that tax doesn’t have to be taxing for small businesses. It is estimated that there are over 3 million small businesses operating in the UK and these owner-managed businesses face many challenges in the next 12 months.
